Pid killed due to text modificiation
Hi,
I have a couple of HPUX C3600 workstations running 10.20 show these error messages when the engineer tried to start up applications like Mentor Graphics Design Manager and Netscape.
"Pid 26204 killed due to text modification or page I/O error, Bus error (core dump)
/net/server/mnt/app/bin/dmgr[152]: "
I have tried to search the itrc's knowledgebase but does lead me any further. Does anyone come across the similar and able to give me some advice?
Thanks.
Teck Beng

Re: Pid killed due to text modificiation
I had similar situation.
In my case It was a network problem.
My unix system set as 10/100M auto sensing and hub supports 10M.
I was set the unix system 10M half duplex at the boot admin mode.
Problem was cleared.
