PII Scanner for HP/UX

I work at a college and we are legally required NOT to retain PII (Social Security Numbers, Credit Card Numbers, etc.) with names. I need to scan all my files on a couple of HP 9000 RPA 7420's running HP/UX 11.11. On Windows we use freeware - Spider from Cornell University. Anyone know of a free (or paid) software product like this that runs natively on HP/UX?

What kind of files need scanning? Text files or databases?

Primarily text files. Essentially grepping for any 9 numbers in a separate string - with or without hyphens, which could be a SSN, etc. (like 16 characters that might be a credit card no.)
