Regarding promotion threads (discussed briefly above), would it make sense to have them started automatically, to ensure that everyone who reached a milestone would get one?

I don't see it as a problem that assigning points to people who post congratulations to the thread might be difficult; if it's do-able, then points awarded could be standardised, otherwise people will be posting genuine congratulations rather than just looking for points.

(And yes, in case you're wondering, I speak from experience. Got to wizard with no thread, and see others getting congratulations for Pro and Graduate. But I'm not bitter; no, not me. Oh no. Mumble...)

Currently seeing a strange issue with some of the icons on screen;

In the member icons section, rather than seeing the images, I'm getting;

expert in this area expert in this area
member status
Pro Pro 250 points
Graduate Graduate 500 points
Wizard Wizard 1000 points
Royalty Royalty 2500 points
Pharaoh Pharaoh 7500 points
Olympian Olympian 20000 points
1-Star Olympian 1-Star Olympian 40000 points
2-Star Olympian 2-Star Olympian 80000 points

Also seeing the same on the "expert" image on the issue list;

so for example, the author box shows

Devender Khatana expert in this area

rather than the name followed by a star. However, the hats are being shown correctly in these boxes.

Tried the usual stuff like refreshing, and cache clearing, but to no avail.
