Re: Please Post Forums Issues - February 2004
Yep, that one is on my monthly "whine" list.
Dan,
It's March!! Time for new threads. Time to update the pointers on the home page to point to the new threads. I know February was a short month, but I didn't think your date book counted to 30 (or 31) before it rolled over!!
;^)

This link on docs.hp.com is supposed to lead to the English version of the ML570 Installation and Setup guide, but it actual leads to a German language version.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - February 2004
I have been to a number of websites lately where the sidebars travel down the page as you scroll through the main body. I don't know enought about HTML/XML and webpage creation to understand how difficult it would be to have that happen in the forums but I think it would be very useful, particularly for newbies.

Click on 'feedback to webmaster' at the bottom of the page.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - February 2004
Seems to me that within this thread there are a number of logical sub-threads that should LIVE-ON, such as the needed 'fix' for the confusion on the 'reply' vs 'new' button terminology.
Some of this content is HP-UX related (the platform of the hosting OS), but it seems to me that MUCH should be in: IT resource center forums > Your questions regarding ITRC Forums > general
Of course that would leave out the "small customers", unless the (proposed?) integration is accomplished!
Are there highlights of thread content collected -- such as in a wrapup FAQ or Best Practice summary? Obviously these might be the first source to look for general questions.
