Re: Please Post Forums Issues - September 2005

Please feel free to remove my last post.
It was made at at time when I wasn't being reasonable.
I apologize to all.
I have no excuse other than to being entirely distraught due to another storm ready to wipe out yet another of my family's homes.
Again, I apologize to every & all forummers.
Sheesh - I'll be entirely ready for this storm season to be over.

Regrettably,
Jeff

P.S. Please, please hope for the best for the residents down there. We can replace "stuff" - folks are harder.

I like Jan's typing mistake on his post of 24th but think it should probably be edited!

@ Mark:

whenever a typo passes my pre-posting re-read, it seems to turn out embarrassing.

Moderator: please DO replace that offending "k" with an "l".

TIA.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - September 2005

The search engine is (still? again?) badly broken.
Just now I was looking for the 'orlando' topic. Search -> more options -> advanced search: orlando - hpux - subject only. A handfull of hits, but none on the subject line?!
Oh... hang on... that topic used to be titled 'new orleans'. Search for orleans finds 'Rita wants to know "who's sucking it up and going to New Orleans?"'. Following that link give: "Who is going to Orlando?"
Cool! Side effect of title changes.
Anyway... search is darn near useless.
I just use Google: +orlando +hpux +site:itrc.hp.com found the desired topic, and as a bonus found this topic!

:-)

Hein.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - September 2005

Since there is no October thread yet, here is a duplicate question:

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=961955

earlier topic with the same exact question can be found here:

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - September 2005

Seeing as how it is now October and the link to Procura's stats on the main ITRC page still points to the August thread, could someone remember to change it to point to the (soon to be) October statistics thread, please?
