Re: Please Post Forums Issues - September 2005

Hey Gary,

May be the notification is delayed ... But when I go to the thread I see that I'm the last person answered.

May be it was sent about previous replies with the delay.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - September 2005

Alex,

I don't know if this applies to your case or not, but my notifications get hung up in our spam filters until the NetAdmin boys go over and release them. Usually by the time they arrive in my inbox it's several hours after I've already responded!

I second Mel's suggestion for the ability to at least delete our own posts.

I've gotten notifications on my own replies before.

There may be a bug in there.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - September 2005

These messages are duplicates,

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=957643
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=957642

moreover, I think they belong to some sort of windows forum rather than hpux.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - September 2005

This one needs a home:

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=957730

If my recommendations are good, please move it to there. Please however read it and if I'm wrong move it to an appropriate location.

Thanks.

Cheryl, Dan,

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=957872

It is now in OpenVMS, but it belongs in one of the (but which I do not know) OpenView fora.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - September 2005

Please notice how the two posts in this thread prior to mine are broken up.

After the I in the word IF there is a new line.

I assure you I did not do this. And two posts in a row? Looks suspicious.

My post was in Firefox, latest patch. My view today is from work, IE 6.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - September 2005

What's the matter, Dan/Alan/Cheryl?
Can you not deal with dissent?
Do you think that Jr. can do no wrong?
Excuse me, I thought that free speach was a *fundemental" fabric of our society?
Are your principals so thin?
You're a wimp.

My 2 cents,
Jeff
