Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - May 2004!
I posted this question in the general forums discussion area but is there a plan to implement a link/button to inform moderators about posts placed in the wrong threads, like people asking wintel cluster questions in HPUX serviceguard threads as there was one like that this morning ?
Cheers,
Mel

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - May 2004!
No, there aren't plans for such a button at this time. However, I can include that idea on our list of enhancement items. Thanks for the feedback.

The cause may be noble, if it is in fact true, but it is out of place.

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - May 2004!
Given the circumstances (and having been through child custody issues myself), I would suggest that this information could be emailed to Xavier and deleted from the thread. I'd hate to see the poor guy lose his (step)daughter because it wasn't proper use of our Forum.

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - May 2004!
Zero points to any unassigned SEP please.
It should be easier with the new unassigned threads feature.
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/pageList.do?userId=CA649974&listType=unassigned&forumId=1
Perhaps its a success, but I think the downtrend in volume in this thread is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the itrc management/development team.

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - May 2004!
is it possible avoid multiple e-mail about same thread?
Working may be as follow:
1) System notify user with e-mail and suspend notification;
2) User read e-mail, click on link and automaically system reenable notification;
3) However notification may be reenabled after 24 hours since last notification.
Every other way may be good to avoid a lof of e-mail when I can't enter in forum for som hours.
Thank You

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - May 2004!
the short lists on the profile main page with 1-7 and 8-10 points are from recent threads. The question list however points still to some place in history. Is that still on your list to correct?
BTW, what kind of database are you using?
greetings,
Michael
ps. thanks for bringing your awarded points uptodate. I was quite taken by surprise.
Do you think, it will be difficult to recalc the assigment ratio?

Any plans to correct this cute innaccuracy.
I'm kind of wondering how I jumped so much on Friday without much actual activity on my part. Was that you Dan?

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - May 2004!
I have had trouble in pasting links. Is there any way you can put in a link without getting it broken up into two or three lines.
This will help if we have to point someone to a web site.
Otherwise everything is going good.
Thanks
