Re: Please Report Forums Issues - December 2003!
before a tar in metalink is opened, you get a number of suggestions, based on your input, after which you can decide to go on or not, which might apply to your case. I wonder if something could be achieved like that.
greetings,
Michael

Forum was completely inaccessible from about 13:00 to 14:00 CST today. Just would not respond.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - December 2003!
I could not get to forums.itrc.hp.com or forums1.itrc.hp.com. I did manage to get to forums2.itrc.hp.com but that appears to be a test box or something because the posts were way out of whack with the regular forums site.

I've been completely locked out of the Forums for the last hour or so (maybe 7:15 AM EST til just now). I couldn't even open the home page!!

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - December 2003!
Was getting constant 500 errors trying to reply since 07:00 CST to just now when I logged out & back in.
This was preceded by frequent 120001 errors.
The gremlins have been in the system lately it appears.

Jeff

If you go to my site, you can click on the "3" of the year in each stat to see the speed graph. An example (past week) is attached.
Time Zone is Amsterdam

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - December 2003!
There is still some wierdness going on in the Forums. I don't know if this is a by-product of whatever has been going on yesterday and today or not.
The following thread:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=327466
shows to have 5 replies to it, but when I click on it, I can only see 2 replies.
I think the Forums have decided to take their Holiday break early.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - December 2003!
The forum is currently functional with IE 5.5
An update even if only acknowleding that something is going on at HP would be most helpful.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - December 2003!
when a thread gets removed, could a page be shown, saying so, instead of a blank page?
thanks,

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - December 2003!
Europe-Search engine returns rubbish today:
"end of life tru64" with only "forums" checked returns a 100% hit at
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=202973
... which has neither "end" nor "life" in text and nothing to do with the intended Serach result :-(
