Re: Please Report Forums Issues - March 2002
TRY using this:
http://us-support.external.hp.com/cki/bin/doc.pl/screen=ckiSearchResults?nodeId=c0&mode=id&searchString=KBRC00003896
The ISSUE is the "SID", it's a temp search result place holder.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - March 2002
Whenever we are replying to any thread it is going directly under that thread. Like:
I have replied to a question in system Administration Category. After the reply it is giving the link of IT resource center-System Admin. But it would be helpful if you can give the detail link like IT resource > hpux > system Admin.
This will be helpful for the persons who are following the total hpux thread.

Sandip

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - March 2002
We are getting a lot of 404 errors and cgi errors like what others have described. I've cleared my cookies and history, but to no avail. It's like there are a few servers flaking out. Time for that M$ to Unix migration!

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - March 2002
Thanks for the feedback. The problems have been reported into the support team, but don't know if it is network related or not. Please standby as I get more information.
Regards,
Dan
PS: Bill, not sure where Jim is...time to start a thread?

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - March 2002
First time I have been able to get on in 2 days.
Kept recieving connection refused, no matter where i tried to connect from.
Is there any chance of getting a Forums status/availibilty info bar on the main hp page?
It would save a lot of hassle to be able to check that now and again, to see if there was a problem instead of hammering the servers especially if they are knackered at the time!
Cheers
George

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - March 2002
Had been getting a lot of 404 errors. Was having problem with connection to forum over the weekend too. Was not able to connect at all. I did not wait long when i was not able to connect.
Had been getting some errors about error processing files and things like that. The 404 errors are getting cleared if i refresh my browser.
Please note that i'm behind a firewall and using a proxy.
Regards
Sanjay

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - March 2002
Just a minute back i tried to refresh the browser using this link,
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0xcc898cc5e03fd6118fff0090279cd0f9,00.html
And it gave me an error,
Error processing SSI file
'/com.hp.itrc_Core/com.hp.itrc_Core_TopLeft_Welcome/1,11958,,00.html'
Looks like this is a regular problem we had been facing today.

Sanjay

Also after removing all cookies before, logging on again, accepting from all hosts etc.
And, I also noticed that the [ Edit ] button does not appear in Opera with my own profile

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - March 2002
Apologize for the performance for the past couple of days. Been working in the background to get performance improved. Appears to have been an issue with search engines bogging down the site resulting in server app errors. I expect much better performance from here on out. If more is determined, I'll let you know. Please let me know if you run into anymore problems.
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - March 2002
seems like the "j" page is broken, again! :-(
Maybe since my e-mail-address was *disclosed* to M$ (due to being on Lindows.com's mailing-list), Windows doesn't like me that much - and the forums are "served" by a Windows-server, aren't they?
Or is there another reason to it?

Wodisch

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - March 2002
Hope you had a good Easter & didn't overdo the eggs & chocolate.
Just a friendly reminder that believe it or not - it's April & time for new issues & successes threads.
Cheers,
Jeff
