Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
Still getting the "1st post" message on most replies to messages, and using the back/refresh/paste/submit to clear them.
Also, a thought about point allocation (which may have been suggested in the past).
Is it possible to add in an extra colummn to the list of a users questions from their profile, which would display (for example) 2/7 if they had assigned points to 2 of 7 responses - this would make it easier for people to go back and find the questions which they still have to tidy up.

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
I'd like to see the profile changed to show three lists for points/posts.
One list for replies not yet rated.
One list for replies given 1-7 points.
One list for replies given 8-10 points.
That will make it easier for me to know if my reply was not on target and thus given few points, or if the person just never gave points. Then I won't have to wade through all of my replies to see if I was off base in my reply.
TIA.

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
Twice today I've gone in to assign points to my Sys Admin Humor thread. Both times I've had to assign the points twice to actually get it done. I don't know what I am (or am not) doing, but something is not quite behaving correctly.

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
Chris: I've been getting a few odd reports about the "1st message" acknowledgment page. It may be a cache issue, but more needs to be looked into. Apologize for this until we get it resolved.
Sean: I've got your suggestion noted, thanks for idea. All suggestions are tracked and prioritized for the lab.
Nick: Our hands are tied due to overall ITRC navigation, etc.
Patrick: This has been reported by others...I'm not sure why. I've not had a problem with it. I've got the lab looking into it.
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
The (Submit) button does not work in lynx :(
On every page I get messages like
Accept invalid cookie domain=.hp.com for 'forums.itrc.hp.com'? (n)
Shouldn't that be "hp.com" or "itrc.hp.com", i.e. no leading dot?

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
I made an error in my subject line of this thread:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x370e543254bfd611abdb0090277a778c,00.html
So I hit the 'Stop' button rigth after I hitted the 'submit button. Now I have two forums threads. Could you remove the one mentioned above?

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
I'd really like to see the link color, and visited link color be modified a bit to have more of a difference.
I use a laptop 5 days a week and on the laptop there is virtually no difference in the colors.
So I can't tell what links I've already seen. It's very, very annoying.

Same as Sean's above:
I'd like to see the profile changed to show three lists for points/posts.
One list for replies not yet rated.
One list for replies given 1-7 points.
One list for replies given 8-10 points.
For the same reasons.

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
Today I've had to submit points for replys many times before they take. I have one thread I've submitted three times now and they still don't show.

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
It's only a browser setting in two instances.
1: if the page doesn't set them.
2: if you choose to override the settings on all pages.
The HP pages set the colors, and I don't want to override all sites colors with my own as that causes many problems.

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
I REALLY wish there was some icon or other indicator that shows up when a thread gets moved from one group to another.
Take today for example. There appears to be a dozen or more threads that have been moved, so they list 0 responses. There are also some new threads that have 0 responses. In this case it is VERY difficult, without opening each and every 0 response thread, to determine which threads have been moved, and which are real questions awaiting an answer.
Just my 2 cents for today.

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
I just had a strange thing happen. I posted a reply to this thread:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x5118543254bfd611abdb0090277a778c,00.html
After clicking on Submit, I got the usual screen, but there was some additional text about me being a first time user. When I went back to the messages, my reply wasn't there. I replied a second time and it worked fine, and it didn't give me the first time text. It just happend a couple of minutes ago. Weird!

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
It must be my day for weird stuff. Twice today I have gone to the Search tab, entered an item, checked the ITRC Forum box, clicked on search, and it comes back and says 'No results found'. If I click on the Search button again, from that screen, it will return a successful search with the same search term that just failed.

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
Getting "page cannot found" errors while searching the forums. While this happens, I have to close and open the IE to see the forum's pages again. I am not sure if this is a bug with IE?
Thanks,
Shiju

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues - September 2002
When ordering s/w via SUM, I can submit the order but then it comes back with an error message saying that one or more products have already been ordered.
There is no information as to which product(s) it is in relation to. If a product has already been ordered, then it shouldn't come up as being available.
Apart from that, I still enjoy using this site.
Regards,
Joanne
