Port Socket for DataBases en inetd.sec

Is possible to restrict to access "SOCKET" through "inetd.sec " knowing the IP Address for workstations.

Re: Port Socket for DataBases en inetd.sec

When inetd accepts a connection from a remote system, it checks the address of the host requesting the service against the list of hosts to be allowed or denied access to the specific service. A service name corresponds to a unique PRC program number. Since "SOCKET" is not a service in /etc/services, I am not sure how this would work. If you want to deny access to a workstation, then select the service you want to deny, together with the IP address.

Hope I understood the question and helped.
