Possible to create depot from installed depot?

Hi!

I have installed a package that I need to install on a different server. I no longer have the depot for it and really don't want to download it again. Is it possible using swcopy or swpackage to 'recreate' the original depot based on the installed pieces?

Hi Eric,

You have to download the package again. don't think you can recreate the depot from an installed product.

I was interested in such thing aswell but couldn't find so far any other way as to query most of package info with swlist (eg. -l file package, -v for more verbose, including permissions), don't know how to find pre/post install scripts though. After this i recreated package using swpackage.
