post_hndlr(): Unresolved kernel interruption
Can anybody tell the root cause of the above
panic string in HP-UX? Why and when such panics happen? Iam unable to debug this issue.

You don't mention much about your system or environment. I would suggest the following:
1. Have the crash dump analysed by HP
2. Check patch PHNE_28895. This mentions a fix for a panic in post_hndlr() on HP-UX 11.11 but you would need to ensure the stack trace matches. The previous option is looking the best.
