Does HP support "postfix"? If yes, are there any issues with sendmail? REV, etc...

My understanding is that postfix is a replacement package for sendmail.
There shouldn't be any problems compiling and running it, but you would most likely have to disable sendmail altogether.
I don't know of any packages that depend specifically on sendmail.
