Re: Power broker access on hpux

Hi Shiv,

Yes you can. Refer to your powerbroker manual on how to do it. Or you can ask for assistance from symark support.

http://www.symark.com

Hope this helps.

Hi Shiv ,

1.Yes you can configure powerbroker to rstrict and manage access rights on yoru system , and as per need.

2. You can also go for sudo , its free product and many organizations uses it.

About Powerbroker:

Enable access by user, UNIX/Linux group, netgroup, or host

Re: Power broker access on hpux

Shiv,

You can also download sudo and install it, and controll accss rights.

sudo allows a system administrator to give certain users or groups of users the ability to run some (or all) commands as root or another user while logging the commands and arguments.

The current version is sudo 1.6.8p12, released on November 8, 2005.
