Power Manager Application
I am trying to install Power Manager ver. 4.0
onto a RP7400 RA-RISC system. The UPS I have hooked up is a R5500XR. I have connected the UPS cable to the RP7400 and have been trying to install the application. But, when the app asks
if my ups is on the network I say "no" then I am given 4 hardware paths to choose from. I find my HW path in SAM go back and put in the correct answer. Then this is what I receive from the app:
Please select a serial port to search for a UPS device on:
1) /dev/tty0p0
2) /dev/tty0p1
3) /dev/tty0p2
4) /dev/tty1p1
[1]: 2
Looking for serial devices:
Trying: 3101
Trying: Pro UPS
Trying: XCP
Failed to find device, please check your connections and try again.
Is your UPS connected to a network? [yN]:
Why is my UPS not being found????
Is there another way to find the hardware path
to our UPS?
