Predictive support and Exchange

Hey all,

Here is our situation. I am attempting to set up Predictive support to use email rather than dial up. Predictive is installed and running. I have worked with HP to verify that it is sending emails to the correct place. I have verified that we get a response from HP by changing the reply to address in the /opt/pred/bin/tcpemail.cf file to my own personal work email (which runs through the exchange server) and performing a test transfer using psconfig. HP's response get sent to my personal email.

We have also set up the exchange server to accept incoming email destined for @domain.com and forward it to predmail@servername.domain.com. I've tested this using my home email and it does get delivered (as verified by the mail.log).

However, when I set the email address in the tcpemail.cf file to @domain.com, the email never gets passed on. I have proven that the email gets sent to HP, that HP's response is sent to the proper place, the address they send it to is functional, and that for other emails predictive gets the mail delivered, but we NEVER get the email from HP delivered to predictive! This is frustrating me to no end! :)

Does anyone out there have any ideas? It's my belief that this is a problem with sendmail on the server not accepting the email from the exchange server, perhaps because of the attachment (HP's response includes a binary attachment to be used by the predictive software).

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Tim
