Preventing PPP with Modems on HP-UX 11.0

Hi All,

I want to make my R390 HP-UX 11.0 very secure.
I have 5 modems on my server and I do not
want any un-authorized users trying to RAS (PPP, Dial in, etc) in...

Also I would love to find some documentation
on this.

Hi Laurie,

Here is a link on how to configrue ppp. So if you want to disable the same, just work your way in the opposite direction than suggested in this link,

Modem can be configured with password and as well as dial back features.
