Re: Primary Boot Disk Replacement
try this:
1) there will 6 screws in front of the pannel (where the disks, CD and DDS resides). U need to remove these and pull it by unlocking the livers (plastic).
2) Once u have taken the full pannel out, u will be able to see the HDD physically and can be removed easily.
3) Be sure to use ur wristbands !
HTH,
Shiju

Re: Primary Boot Disk Replacement
Your remove the Torx-10 screws holding the carrier then use to plastic tabs to lever the entire carrier assembly out. You can then remove the back of the carrier.
Of course, you are wearing your anti-static strap while doing this.

Re: Primary Boot Disk Replacement
If not, do it now.
Now, you will have to remove the cage that the drives are in. This is done by taking out 4 (?) screws that hold it in.
Once that is done, you should be able to just pull the entire drive cage out and lay it on a table. To get the drives out, just unscrew the 2 screws on each side of the drive and unplug the SCSI and power connections.
Now reverse all the steps to put the new drive in.
(This is why I really LOVE the jamaica enclosures now for root drives) :)
