Anybody used before or knows of a reliable Print Quota Software that meets following reqmts :-
* for HP-UX 11.0
* control no. of papers printed per person per month. For example, user2 is alloc only 60 pages of A4 for printing every month. An A4 double-sided print is counted as 2 pages. A one-sided A3 print is counted as 2 pages.
* the print quota is reduced only if something is really printed -- that is, those spooled but cancelled subsequently will not be counted.
Thank you.

Solution
Hi
Look at http://www.lprng.org . This is a new
type of lp tools, the limit is on the
document's size. But you can add filters on the
printcap file to control and authorize printing
I think that you search for something like
pquotatd : http://www.cis.ohio-state.edu/~rowland/projects/pquotad/

Re: Print Quota Software
Lprng howto page have an accounting section :
http://www.lprng.org/LPRng-HOWTO.html#AEN9403
see section number 18.
It seems to use hardware pages counters, present
on hp printers and some others.
