Hi experts,

Is it possible to send a print job to printer on specific tray say tray1 or tray 2 from hpux 11i box. or is it possible to add another queue to a network printer & how.

Hello Sharif,

I worked with this some years ago and I am not really familiar but I think I can help you a bit .. First of all you must know the model script you are using. In the model script configuration file there must be an option to select the appropiate option you want

This a typical model script path:

/usr/spool/lp/interface/hppinp50_1

You can also add the same printer twice in your jetadmin and edit the model script for each printer definition. You will be able to find the model script in your jetadmin configuration. Sometimes it is possible to select the Tray with any lp option . Have a look at the man pages for lp
