Printer for HPB132L
Question 1: Are there any inexpensive B&W laser printers nowadays that are PCL compatible, have a parallel interface and can be easily attached to my B132? If so, please recommend.
Q2: Where can I download a copy of JatAdmin for HPUX10.2? With that, can I add any printer on my network or will I need the drivers for HPUX? Can I add "shared" printers attached to a PC on my network or will I need a printer with a NIC?
Thanks in advance.

There is several PCL compatible laser printers on the market, for example:

Re: Printer for HPB132L
JetAdmin was obsoleted several years ago. Instead, just download HP Printer Installer which looks very similar (sorry for the ugly URL):

You can waste time using SAM to add the printer or simply use the command line found in HPPI:
addqueue -h 12.34.56.78 -q printqueue-name
That's all there is to it. -h hostname or IP address, and -q for the queue name to use on HP-UX. Although 10.20 is now obsolete, you can still download HPPI for 10.20.

Re: Printer for HPB132L
The laserjet 1000 semms to have USB port only. You need the laserjet 1200 to get a paralell port.

Re: Printer for HPB132L
The different PCL variant can be confusing I am not an expert on this but in most cases PCL is backwards compatible. A printer who supports PCL5 should also support PCL4 , PCL3 etc. I am not sure exact what PCL5e stand for (perhaps "extended"). I have no experience with the laserjet 1200 myself but if it support PCL5e I think it also support PCL5.
If you plan to connect this printer local (to the paralell port) there is no need for HPPI, this have to do with network attached printers.
This thread is about printing from a HP-UX computer to a printer connected to a Windows system.
