SolutionThese two model scripts are located in /var/spool/lp/model directory. Use SAM to create and it will make a copy of the model script and place it in the /var/spool/lp/interface directory with the printer name you specify.

Does this mean you have no serial ports on your 11.00 system available?
On some HP9000 systems, you have to purchase a seperate MUX box if you need serial ports.
The other alternative is to get a jetdirect box that can be attached to your network and connect the printer to that.
