Printer Issue

Hi all,

I tried to install Lexmark 2381 Plus printer on hpux 11i . but the printout not clear it continues printing a lot of incorrecting "digits" (such as U%$^$&^&*_&*(&*%&*$)

pls help to find out the issue.

How did you configure it?
Did you get any message in /var/adm/lp/log file??
There is no substitute to HARDWORK

Is this a network ready printer or you are using an interface? What kind of interface and software.

Hi Tvs,

Does this printer speak PS or PCL?
Or does the manual speak about "GDI" or "host based"; The last two are synonyms for "Windows-only"...
