printer listing and configuration
Hello All,
How do I list all the printers I am connected to, and how do I configure a connection to an existing network printer on hp. Gotta do this fast, thanks for your help.

Re: printer listing and configuration
Hi Ana,
lpstat -t will give you printers informations.
You can use sam too.
In order to create a printer :
- If this printer has a jetdirect box, you can use jetadmin (http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/hpjetadmin1875_swen.html)
-If not, you can create remote printe with SAM.
Regards,
Patrice.

Re: printer listing and configuration
Pretty much what has been stated
lpstat -t will give you a listing of the configurations.
SAM or jetadmin will ease the adding of a printer for you.
You state this will be a network printer - get the IP of the printer.
