Users are indicating they see unwanted info:
why are the printer printing a page (like a configuration page) everytime I release my printouts? it says "root" on top left corner. User: root on swprodno, unix, ho,NoAging and on the bottom of the page says ******Option Summary **** and then a bunch of options
from hppi, is this were I make the changes ?
Modifiable Printer Parameters
-----------------------------
Settings may be changed by selecting the corresponding numbers. You
can make as many changes as you want until 'q' is selected.
Options: Current Settings:
-------- -----------------
1) Job Recovery [ON]
2) True End-of-Job [ON]
3) Banner Page [ON]
4) Default Printing Language [AUTO]
5) PostScript Level [N/A]
6) Banner Tray [default]
7) Banner Paper Size [default]
8) Duplex print [default]
Select an item for change, or q when done:

As mentioned you need to disable the banner page. But I wanted to note that I have seen some printers that have the banner page actually set on the printer itself. I have had to go to the web interface of some printers and disable the banner.
"The difference between me and you? I will read the man page." and "Respect the hat." and "You could just do a search on ITRC, you don't need to start a thread on a topic that's been answered 100 times already." Oh, and "What. no points???"
