printer problem

Dear All
my problem is when i connect to sam and from it to printer and plotter and to physical printer the system stuck on that and nothing response and also when i use the command lpstat no answer is received,so your help to see the cause of the problem and how to solve it,and the system is very slow.

What does bdf -l show? I would pay particular attention to /var.

Have you checked for errors in /var/adm/lp/log? Or /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log?

Try stopping and restarting the print system:

lpshut
lpsched

we restart the server and try to start the sam and the printer and plotter and then logical printer and we get the following error message

sh 2401 Bus error "
