Hi
We had a second hand rp2470 and did not know what it was used for.
I tried few times to boot form CD to install HPUX 11 but everytime I boot it from CD the server automatically start a recovery shell. I do not have any chance to install HPUX.
I pulled out all the harddrives, reset GSP to all the default settings but the problem is still there.
any ides ?
thanks
Nan

Solution
There are couple of threads on the very issue.
I think the resolution is to set the correct TERMINAL type of the console.
Edit the terminal settings of the console, change it to vt100/vt220 and give it a try again.
