Printer problem
I have 2 servers connected to a printer. From one server the requests are getting printed and from other server it is not getting printed. I'm able to ping the printer from both servers.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.
Regards

Re: Printer problem
check the printer status and queue/spooler status.
Easiest done via SAM.
If that does not fix the problem, remove then re-add the printer.
I assume the printer was working earlier from both machines.

Re: Printer problem
any feedback?
disable printer
switch off printer
enable printer
switch on printer
are good suggestions.
Maybe any informations in the logs?
See /var/adm/lp
Also check in /etc/lp/interface if the printer is configured identically.
Maybe you can also configure the printer at the second server as remote printer and direct the prints to the first server, who works.
