Printer Ques migration

We want to migrate printer queues from one PA RISC based server (9000/800/L3000-6x) running HP-UX 11.0 to RX server (rx8620) running HP-UX 11.23. I need some guidance in this regard.

You could use SAM to save the printer configuration on one and then copy to the other then restore.
I'm not sure how compatible 11.00 and 11.23 are?

You could use SAM and *save* your current printer configuration; and import and test the "new" one. If this works, good; if not, restore the saved configuration and re-assess.

Just try it? But back up (and copy elsewhere) your 11.23 LP config first.
Also, this assumes there are no queues on your 11.23 system.

What type of printers? Local, remote, network?

Most of them are network printers. We added them either using addqueue or jetadmin oon 11.0 server
