Does anyone have a recommendation for printing from HPUX 11.0 to NT Print Servers. Since our IT already manages all company printers on the NT print server, I'd like to leverage from them and eliminate all of our printer administration on the HPUX system. I've been scanning through the HP site and some of my books and I can't find a good way to do it. Examples would be appreciated. Thanks all!

Solution
Two step process. First the NT print server has to have IP services running that allow non NT system to lpr to them. I am drawing a blank but I think it was called "Simple TCP/IP Services". It is added in the network config on the NT box.
Then the easiest way I have found is to set up a remote printer in SAM on the HPUX box and point it to the NT server's IP address and queue name for the printer you want to print to.
Good luck

If it has wheels or a skirt, you can't afford it.
