Printing on remote printer

I have one Windows XP system through which my HP LaserJet Printer is attached. Printer is attached on USB port. Now I have to print my document which are on my HP-UX system on the printer which is connected to windows XP machine. I tried to use windows XP LPR ports for UNIX but not getting the print. How to get print for HPUX system on windows shared printer.

Re: Printing on remote printer

hi,

first of all you must define the printer as "remote printer" on the hp-ux system

Re: Printing on remote printer

Hi,

You can accomplish this by configuring SMB/CIFS product in your HPUX box.

Let your effort be such, the very words to define it, by a layman - would sound like a "POETRY" ;)
