printing problem on a Canon
Hi,
we have this multi Canon photocopier. I was able to set it up on the HP_UX as a remote printer.
All prints ok but when i specify the number of copies, it's only printing 1.
the command i send is:
lp -onb -dprinter -n%d %s
%d is the number of copies
%s is the file to print
Anybody that had the same problem?
PB.

Re: printing problem on a Canon
what model script did you use?
"The difference between me and you? I will read the man page." and "Respect the hat." and "You could just do a search on ITRC, you don't need to start a thread on a topic that's been answered 100 times already." Oh, and "What. no points???"

Re: printing problem on a Canon
if it truly is a "remote" printer and not a "network" printer then the -n option is not available.
