Re: PRM (Process Resource Manager)
Greetings,
We are using PRM on our V-Class boxes here where I work and we like it a lot. PRM allows you to group a series of executables together as a group and then to assign limitations like cpus and memory for that group. It is very nice and brings a lot of mainframe type functionality(e.g. add cpus to a group for extra processing, etc.). Very nice, but not cheap on the larger servers. I hope that this helps.
Regards,
Jason V.

Re: PRM (Process Resource Manager)
Steve,
The vast majority of PRM customers are using it to run multiple copies of Oracle on a single machine. There are over 15,000 copies of PRM out there.
I can't name any names, but rest assured, this is a very robust solution.
Do you have any specific questions or issues with PRM and Oracle?
Dan
