Problem configuring Java on 11i

Hi:

I'm recently upgraded to HPUX 11i, hoping that I could configure it as a web server. I also want to develop and serve servlets. I'm having problems configuring Java. The Apache release notes that came with 11i has instructions for installing JDSK 2.0 and "HP-UX Developer's Kit for Java release 1.2.2.04." Well, the instructions don't work. Has ANYONE done this? Can you tell me exactly where I can go to download the correct products? Any documentation or words of wisdome would also help.

Please help,

Tom

Re: Problem configuring Java on 11i

Hello Tom,

I did something similar (Java 1.18) but it was quite some time ago, so I don't recall exactly. Any way, I downloaded 2 filesets, not 1: JDK and JRE. I downloaded them from one of HP's websites, I guess just by following the links from http://www.hp.com/go/java . Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Edward

Hi,

What part of the instructions don't work? Where are you running into problems?
