problem in adding ingite client

Hi,
Iam trying to add a ignite client for ignite server,so that I can create a ignite backup image of the server through lan ignite and put the image in the ignite server.
for this Iam using
:/opt/ignite/bin/add_new_client -s -f -d
and is returning with the error.
Unable to determine the version of recovery tools on server: .
/opt/ignite/lbin/update_tools failed to validate the recovery tools version using "" as the Ignite-UX Server
versions :
on ignite server:
Ignite-UX B.5.3.35 HP-UX System Installation Services
on client:
Ignite-UX B.3.7.96 HP-UX System Installation Services
I guess this could be the version mismatch between the client and the server.
Is there any way that I can take the ignite backup put the image in the same server ie the client and ftp it to another server where there is a tape attached and put this ignite backup in the tape.
