Problem in installing PHKL_31500
I have downloaded following patches for Installation PHKL_31500,PHKL_34094,PHNE_32055,PHNE_33717
but I am unamble to Install all of them
swagent.log shows
NOTE: The patch fileset "PHKL_31500.100BT-KRN,r=1.0" may only be
installed upon a previously installed base fileset. The
specification for this base fileset is
"Networking.100BT-KRN,fr=B.11.23,v=HP". Since there is no
fileset on the target or selected from the source which
matches this specification, fileset
"PHKL_31500.100BT-KRN,r=1.0" will be excluded.
Can u tell me what is going amiss
Regards

Re: Problem in installing PHKL_31500
swlist -l product | grep PHKL_31500
I think its already installed.
DO NOT, repeat DO NOT try and reinstall.
This is one of those patches that does very bad things if its re-installed. It could make your system unusable.
Nothing appears to be amiss based on your post. Post the output of the swlist command.

Re: Problem in installing PHKL_31500
Why do you say that? It says it can't be installed because the base product Networking.100BT-KRN isn't there.

Re: Problem in installing PHKL_31500
I think there may already have been a force re-install of this patch causing corruptoin.
The Networking module its complaining about is basic and should be installed on all systems.

Re: Problem in installing PHKL_31500
I agree with others that the Networking fileset should have been installed.
Try running
swlist -a state -l fileset Networking.100BT-KRN
This should give you an idea if the fileset is corrupt.

Re: Problem in installing PHKL_31500
If you try to install a patch by name, every fileset is selected to install even if that does not make any sense. If you use the option "-x patch_match_target=true" instead of listing the patches by name SD will figure out what is needed and install just those filesets. This message would disappear.
PHKL_31500 will almost always be included as a dependency, but should already be installed in just about every case.
