Re: Problem running cstm
Do you have the latest version?
HP has recommended to me that I keep up with revisions in this area.

Re: Problem running cstm
What messages do you see in /var/opt/resmon/log
files (except for event.log ), like api.log, client.log and registrar.log?

Re: Problem running cstm
One thing ive noticed is it fails to run if the network is down or not configured correctly.
Do a lanscan and ifconfig lanx, this is usually enough to get cstm to run if it is configured and working.
The latest versions can be downloaded from
WWW.software.hp.com as already mentioned. This can be downloaded on its own or as part of the supportplus. The bundle is called onlinediags.
www.software.hp.com/supportplus
Swlist should show you which version you are running so you can check.
Another thing is the hardware side of things, if the system isnt patched up to allow for any newer hardware then it could fail to run.
hope that helps abit
Andy

Re: Problem running cstm
lanscan and ifconfig results are fine, there is problem in running SAM too,
The sam log shows the following error message:

c)". Protocol sequence was ncacn_ip_tcp. Max calls was 20. Endpoint was 213

I could not figure ot what exactly could be the issue,
I have checked and found SAM has been installed, STM has also ben installed, could this be a patch issue, please let me know.
Thansk a lot in adv,
