Re: Problem to make ignite tape image

I understand you are using an older version of the ignite-UX...

Fix for this issue is available in Ignite-UX release C.6.3 onwards. I would rather recommend you to install the latest version of the ignte UX from www.software.hp.com instead of installing from the application
media.

Re: Problem to make ignite tape image

Hi

The archive_cfg should be world readable. Failing in having these file permission the system through an error. What is the umask set in your system. please check the default umask allows the read permission for the files.

Re: Problem to make ignite tape image

Hi Victor,

May I request the ignite version you are using.

This issue was there with Ignite B.5.4 and this occurs on trusted systems where the default umask is 077 by default.

Have you tried installing the latest ignite version? can u run swverify on that and check if it is installed properly..

Re: Problem to make ignite tape image

I am running C.6.8 and I haev the same problem. It's the Umask, not the version of Ignite.
I prepended umask 022 to the script running make tape recovery. I'll let you know if this fixes the problem
