problem with backup exec on HP-UX
Hello,
I'm having problem while trying to take backup on an HP-UX 11.11 client.
The authentication went successful only after applying this workaround : http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/287319.htm (it suggest to disable Shadow Trusted Passwords) but then another error suddenly occoured while trying to take the backup...
By running the command netstat -na I can see the authentication session running on port 10000 (on the HP-UX client side).
In the file /etc/services the tcp 10000 port is actually active and should be used by the consolle.
How can I see if it's a network service issue ?
I mean, if the session handshake start on port 10000 then after authentication it try to open session over other dynamic ports but they are closed how can I get notice of that ?
