Problem with cut & pasting data between 2 screens.
Greetings, several of our developers use a terminal emulator called host explorer. They have need to cut and paste entire screen of data from one screen to another. Presently they can only transfer several lines at a time, sometimes half a screen but never the full screen. Has anyone come across this problem? Thankyou for your input

Re: Problem with cut & pasting data between 2 screens.
Hi,
Host explorer sounds like the telnet part of the Exceed product, which is what we use here. I've tried it and I can cut and paste without any problems. Which font are they using? You might try setting it for a different font and see if you have the same problem. I use TCP Terminal on my sessions and it works fine.
Also, is it just a problem cutting and pasting between the host explorer sessions, or does it mess up also when you paste it into another application like Notepad?

Re: Problem with cut & pasting data between 2 screens.
Hi WVSA
Try this
do a ALT+PRTSC for the whole screen you want to cut and paste and then go to the screen you want to paste and press cntrl+v , you will able capture the whole screen. I assume you are using a desktop for this.
