Problem with Ignite B.5.0.38 on HPUX 11.11 for installing rx2600

I'm in trouble with the installation of a rx2600 with Ignite B.5.0.38 on HPUX 11.11.
Connected on my console, I launch lanboot, the first step (tftp) works fine: the DHCP request is OK, and I can download the fpswa.efi, INSTALL and IINSTALLFS files.

But in the second step, it have a problem with lan card/DHCP/Ignite to catch a new DHCP IP adress.
I've checked my bootptab, dhcptab, instl_boottab and they work fine on another "Ignite production network"
Please help.
Regards
Lio

Attached log of the problem :

* Could not get DHCP information. No host specific network defaults
will be supplied. (dhcpclient returned: 5)
ERROR: Hostname and/or IP address was not set with instl_adm(1M), and not
obtainable via DHCP.
ERROR: Failed to Start networking.
Failed to startup networking, user interaction required

B.5.0.38 seems back-level, a bit old. Maybe even pre-11.22.

Where did you get it?

First thing I might try is installing the latest Ignite. I know that 'lanboot' from Itanium machines is new and works differently than on PA machines, and latest version may be more fully supported.

Hi Lio,

HP-UX 11.11 will *not* run on an Itanium-2 system like the rx2600.
You have to use either 11iv1.6 (11.22) or 11iv2.0 (11.23) on any Itanium-2 system.

Re: Problem with Ignite B.5.0.38 on HPUX 11.11 for installing rx2600

In fact, my Ignite server is in HPUX 11.11 but I try to install HPUX 11.23 to my target (rx2600).
I have a problem to "catch the DHCP"
