problem with install net-snmp

Hi, I have the following problem:
I have downloaded ixNet-SNMP_A.10.00-5.4.1.007_HP-UX_B.11.23_IA_PA.depot from the hp site and install the depot with swinstall with no errors.
I change the smnp.conf with public.
When I start the smnpd from /opt/iexpress/net-snmp/sbin it look like good but
snmpwalk -c public -v1 fink gives
Timeout: No Response from fink.


How do I have to start the net-snmp?
