problem with lanmond in EMS
EMS-Config A.04.00.01 EMS Config
hi,
i have problem with lanmond, when i change the option of lanmond in mibmond.dict,after change,i kill the demon lanmond, when it is restarted ,it didn't take the new options that i was defined in mibmond.dict. please if you have any ideas inform me.
i have the following product on my system :
EMS-Core A.04.00.01 EMS Core Product
EMS-KRMonitor A.11.11.04 EMS Kernel Resource Monitor
EMS-MIBMonitor A.04.00.01 EMS MIB Resource Monitor Product
Isee_EmsListener A.11.09.10 ISEE TCP listener for EMS events

thanck for your help, but i have do all this propositions.
after the change of mibmond.dict,i have kill the demon lanmond, it take the old values .
i have restart the ems services, also it didn't work. the lanmond take always the old values of options.
the mibmond have the newly values of options for lanmond, but i don't know where it found the old values of options when it is restarted automatically.

You may have patching issues with these products.
I suggest you go to
http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/mainPage.do
run searches for these products and build a patch bundle.
Install it, which may boot your system and re-run your test.
There are a lot of issues with snmp and HP-UX.
