problem with line printer under 11.0
Printer has been turned off and on. Disabled
and enabled in que. Removed from the que and
stop and restarted lpsched.
Seem to rememeber something about FIFO and
SCHEDLOCK should be removed is this correct??

The SCHEDLOCK and FIFO files are created when the spooler is started. you should manully delete these files only if they don't get deleted on their own when the spooler is stopped.

You may remove those files, if it was not removed by stopping the scheduler

did you try the 'accept' command ?

enable printer
accept destination

Check the control panel setting on the printer. The network settings might not be correct. I had a similar problem once, when the network configuration was reset to default on the printer.

On your netowork printer make sure you have EtherTalk and DLC/LLC disabled and also you are able to ping the printer.
