Problem with Mozilla in HP-UX11.11

Hi,

I am facing problem with invoking mozilla.I used to invoke mozilla with command >>mozilla. All these days it was working fine. but now mozilla is not getting invoked and did not give any error.

anyone please sugest what could be the problem?

Start by making sure you are able to find the executable itself. Enter "whence -v mozilla" and see what that returns. Then make sure that what is returned is actually valid.

mozilla has some pre-requisites in order to work. gtk libraries I believe.

There are links at http://www.hp.com/go/mozilla or http://software.hp.com

Its pretty common to miss that its possible to force the install to ignore dependencies.

but after installing i was able to use mozilla. due to some reasons it is not invoking now. when given whence -v mozilla from root directory it showed mozilla is opt/mozilla/mozilla
then i executed from /opt/mozilla directory. nothing is returned. Is it because of space issue as 94% allocation used in opt directory.

I uninstalled mozilla.....
i want to install version 2.0.0.4 in HP-UX 11.11.
Can anyone provide me the link for mozilla 2.0.0.4

It might be due to a space issue in your home directory. But /opt/ should be treated as readonly and not grow, until you install new software.

Any reason you aren't using firefox instead??

Hard to say, not knowing what "it" is, but
I'd guess not.

There is no specific reason. I just want a browser. Can you provide me the link where i can download firefox for Hp-UX11.11.

I installed firefox and it is now working fine. hope size is not a problem because now it is showing 99% after installing firefox. still i am able to work with it.
