problem with MTU size for loopback ( hpux v.11 )

I have problem. I want to change the size (MTU) for loopback for HPUX 11.
Default size is 4136.
route send me error " cannot updade loopback" .;-(.
( with hp-ux 10.20 is OK , but with 11.00 no . )
Please send me an answer.

Use the
#lanadmin -M lanN mtusize
wher N is the Interface no for (eg: lan0 )

Kindly Note:The mtu_size value must be within the link specific range.

Why is it you wish to change the MTU for loopback? As the error message implies, it likely is not possible to change the loopback MTU on 11.

The lanadmin suggestion was good, but lanadmin only works on "real" interfaces, and the loopback interface is not a real interface in the lanadmin sense.
