Problem with "saconfig" command

I have MSA30DB connected to server via SA6402 controller. It is HP-UX 11.23 server. I need to add phisical drive to RAID5 and extend logical drive. With saconfig command I can only add spare disk. There are no options for extending logical disk. saconfig utility version is A.01.13. Is there any newest version of saconfig fo HP-UX 11.23?

Re: Problem with "saconfig" command

From the release notes of the current software:

"The HP Smart Array Controllers do not automatically detect hot-plug of internal disks.

Corrective Action: After replacing a physical disk, run the sautil command with the scan option"

http://docs.hp.com/en/J6369-90062/ar01s04.html

IMHO it is worth to try.

Hope this helps!
