problem with SD-UX it appears to be empty
Hi,
I have a problem with the SD-UX system. When I issue the command swlist the following error is display:
=============================================
WARNING: Incomplete definition for the root (instalation) "/", beginning at line 1. The following attributr are not defined:
products the products contained in the root
ERROR: the depot "hpk420:/" exists but is currently empty
=============================================
The OS is HP-UX 10.20
Also when I use SAM to try install or view the software the same thing happen. I think that some archive is missing or something similar.
can anyone help me with this problem?
thanks in advance

Re: problem with SD-UX it appears to be empty
Hi
SD-UX thinks that the depot in in the root dir - hence "/" in your error.

Re: problem with SD-UX it appears to be empty
This error normally comes when you don't have enough space in /var. Is it so? If yes, then remove large log files (or trim it) from /var, remove any core or coredump files, trip wtmp and utmp, trim system log files etc. Once you have enough space in var, install some safe products like Ignite-UX and that will resolve the issue. I think your depot IPD has been corrupted.

Another possibility is an INDEX corruption. Check Carsten's answer in this thread:
