Problem with the banner
I want to configure a printer with HPDPS but always with each copy it prints the initial banner. After I used the followed command:
# lp -onb -dlofx8902 /etc/hosts
lp: HPDPS error (The attribute printer-pass-through is not supported by the requ
ested server or printer.)
what I can do for not print the initial banner?
Thanks

Re: Problem with the banner
Try:
# pdpr -x "job-sheets=none" -p lofx8902 /etc/hosts
If that works, you can look at the following document which will describe how to set the default attribute of every print job to not have a banner page:
http://www6.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000062922533
Doc ID: UPRTKBRC00008527
Hope that's helpful...

Re: Problem with the banner
I have same problem. It is not possible for me to open the link on the web how to set the printer with option no banner. Is it possible to write it here.
Thanks very much. Dagmar
